AN INTRO AND AN ENDING

The first piece sounds like a nice way to start an album or something, and I started work on it on Christmas Eve while playing with a new program I had found.

The second sounds like it ought to end a larger work, and began as an entry to a “one-hour compo” that I tried to enter. It came in second to last, but had a lot of “middle of the crowd” votes, and is the only one of the pieces I’ve tried in these contests to still stick in my head enough to want to continue work on it.
